These Terms and Conditions apply to your access and use of the website. Your use of our website constitutes your agreement to follow these Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them.

les amis du FROMAGE reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our website.

Inaccuracy Disclaimer

From time to time there may be information on our website or in our catalogue that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability. les amis du FROMAGE reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Online Orders

By clicking the ‘Accept or Purchase’ button you agree to these terms and conditions. By completing and submitting the electronic order form (or proceeding through the ‘checkout process’) you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Neither submitting an electronic order form or completing the checkout process constitutes our acceptance of your order.

Product Pricing Information

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to: product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service, error in your order or other reasons.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.


Product availability may vary, items seen online may not be available in store and vice versa.

Cheese Platters

• All cheese platter orders called into the store will require a credit card number to secure your order. Please call us to provide your credit card number.

• We request a minimum of 48 hours to process your order, prepare it, and have it ready for pick up.
• SAME DAY ORDERS: Same Day orders incur a 10% “Rush Fee” and are subject to availability. Same day orders will not come with fresh bread. They will be served with crackers only..
• We require 24 hours notice for cancellation of platter orders.
• Please Note: If any borrowed equipment is not returned to les amis du FROMAGE in acceptable condition within 48 hours after your event, the replacement cost will be charged to your credit card without notice.
• Pictures of platters shown online are only an example. Actual platter may be different than image shown on website. This is because we choose your cheeses fresh for your platter from our rotating selection of products.

Subscription Boxes

Subscription boxes are ready for pickup on the first Thursday of each month, running from February through November.  If you wish to pause or cancel your monthly pickup and instead pick up the following month, you must notify us by the 20th of the month prior to your pick up. 

The purchaser will be responsible for providing the correct details of the recipient, including full name, email and telephone number. 

Ticket Sales

• All tickets are sold on a first come first served basis
• Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
• Tickets are only available for purchase online. Tickets will not be mailed.
• Your receipt is your ticket
• We do not accept ticket orders via email or by telephone or in store.

Ticket Sales: Refunds

Just like tickets to events such as hockey games, music concerts and other entertainment style events, les amis du FROMAGE tickets are non-refundable after purchase and may not be transferred to another event. Tickets however are transferrable to a 3rd party and may be used by someone else, so you may sell or give away your tickets for an event if you are not able to make it. In the event that you or your guest cannot attend the event, you are welcome to transfer the spot(s) to another person. If this does occur, please email us in advance with the name(s) of who will be attending in your place.

Ticket Sales: Cancellations

Events are generally held rain or shine. In the rare situation where we cancel an event that fails to attract minimum enrollment, we will contact you ahead of time to reschedule your tickets or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer. We reserve the right to limit the number of participants and to cancel an event that fails to attract minimum enrollment. We recognize it is difficult to plan and purchase tickets many months out, which is generally the case with our events due to popularity. We also realize that this provides you the opportunity to plan around the event and make it your top priority.

Additional Event Info

• Tastings begin sharply at the scheduled start time.
• All tastings will be taught in our store by Allison Spurrell.
• We ask that you please refrain from wearing strong cologne or perfume at our in-store tastings.
• Alcohol will be served.  Please don’t drink and drive.
• You must be 19 years of age to attend.  Proof of age may be require.
