How about a night in this Valentine's Day? We're offering a Facebook Live Cheese Tasting for two persons, with your host Allison Spurrell. 

We'll set you up with a tasting kit, including:

• Cheese (8 types)
  
• Crackers
• Chez Christophe flutes
• Accompaniments 
• Kasama Karkar Island dark chocolate bar
• Tasting menu

We'll pack everything to go in one of our LADF AOC shopping bags. 

Wine is not included. 

We're planning on pairing cheeses with some bubbly to start, followed by a bottle of port. how easy is that? You can dig into your cellar for something similar, or hit up your favourite local wine shop for some suggestions. Marquis Wine Cellar / BC Liquor Stores

We have some wine pairing suggestions for you :

Bubbly

• BC sparkling like Blue Mountain / Fitzpatrick / Tantalus
• French sparkling Cremant from the Alsace, Burgundy or Jura
• Champagne: Some favorite's include Delamotte, Veuve Clicquot or Pierre Peters.

Port

• Late Bottled Vintage Port
• Tawny Port (Age depends on your budget)

Pickup will only be available at our East Van store. Your kit will be ready for pick up on the following dates. Please have your name and order # ready when picking up. You will be prompted to choose a pick up time at check out. You may choose whichever date you like to complete the check out. But pick up will only be available on the following days.

• Saturday February 13
• Sunday February 14

The cut-off date for ticket sales is Sunday February 7 @ midnight. After that point we will not be able to accommodate any last minute requests. 

We are not offering a gluten free option for this event, as some items included are not gluten free. We will happily substitute the crackers for a gluten free alternative. Please request that in the comments section when paying.
