Saganaki

Ingredients

  • Four 1/4" slices of Saganaki cheese or Kefalagraviera
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tspn fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 lemon wedges

Directions

  1. Soak cheese slices in milk for 10 minutes
  2. Mix pepper and flour together.  Dredge cheese slices in flour
  3. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry the cheese slices on both sides, until golden brown.
  4. Add juice from the lemon wedges and serve hot.  Season to taste.
